We at YOU BETTAH RUM are working to make our site YOUBETTAHRUM.COM accessible to people with disabilities.
Our Commitment
At You Bettah Rum, we believe everyone deserves to experience the best mai tais Kauai has to offer. We are committed to making both our website and our tour experience as accessible and welcoming as possible for guests of all abilities.
Web Accessibility
An accessible website allows visitors with disabilities to browse and interact with the same ease and enjoyment as all other visitors. We have worked to adapt this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines to meet AA accessibility standards. As part of this effort we have:
-
Set the language and content order of the site's pages
-
Defined clear heading structures throughout the site
-
Added alternative text to images
-
Implemented color combinations that meet required color contrast standards
-
Reduced the use of motion on the site
-
Ensured that site content is compatible with assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation
Tour Accessibility
Our mai tai tasting tour visits four restaurant locations across Kauai, with guests transported between stops in our tour van. We are happy to accommodate guests with a wide range of disabilities and will do our best to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone in your group.
Please note the following:
-
Our tour van is not wheelchair accessible. Guests who require a wheelchair-accessible vehicle should contact us prior to booking so we can discuss options and do our best to make alternative arrangements.
-
The restaurant locations on our tour vary in layout and accessibility. Please contact us in advance if you have specific mobility concerns and we will provide details on each stop.
-
Guests with dietary restrictions, sensory sensitivities, hearing impairments, or other accessibility needs are encouraged to reach out before booking so we can do everything we can to accommodate you.
We never want accessibility to be a barrier to joining us. If you have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out — we'll always do our best to find a solution.
